Place of birth: Sèvres, France

Height: 1.90 m (6 ft 3 in)

Playing position: Striker

Club: 1899 Hoffenheim

DEMBA Ba is being widely tipped to replace Adebayor, and our scouts can reveal that Arsenal have been watching him for over a year now, and if Arsenal choose to purchase a striker he is certainly one of many candidates.

Becuase you cannot see Ba's whole season we can tell you his seasons stats, they are quite impressive, especially when he is playing alongside players who you cant call world-class. In 34 starts Ba managed an impressive 14 goals, which is more than a goal in every three games. Another intresting stat is he managed 126 shots in those games, with just over 50 on target. He received just 4 yellow cards last season, and zero reds.

Looking back before Hoffenheim Ba's scoring record is even better. Between 05-06 Ba played for FC Rouen scoring 22 goals in just 26 appearence, he then moved to Mouscron for a year where he scored 12 times in just 8 starts.

We believe that Ba has lots of potential, he is fast. robust, technically gifted, and has great tactical awareness. These skills leave Ba in a great position to become a very good player and at just 24 he has a fantastic future ahead of him. He has shown his quality against the biggest clubs like Stuttgart as you can see in the video below.

Which Premier League clubs would he suit?

Arsenal, Sunderland, Stoke

Key Attributes Rating:

Strength 8/10

Pace 9/10

Verdict:

Demba Ba is a very good player and is linked to Arsenal aswell as other clubs in the Premier League, his pace and strength are his best attributes and help him to be a classy striker. A replacement for the recently departed Adebayor perhaps? We will see.
