Clubs on red alert for Ozil

Mesut Ozil looks set to leave Werder Bremen this summer. Clubs around Europe were put on red alert after the club revealed they were open to offers for the German superstar.

Ozil burst into the worlds eye in this years World Cup, he was thought to be avaliable for as little as £9m before the competition in South Africa, but his price has now doubled.

Werder Bremen lost playmaker Diego last season, and Ozil was used as a direct replacement, but Ozil now seems likely to follow Diego out of the club.

Among the clubs interested are, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, us folks at TBGFootball see him transferring to his home country to Bayern Munich.

TBGFootball highlighted Mesut Ozil as a player to watch in the World Cup, and last year he was featured in our 'Scout Report' which can be seen here: Mesut Ozil Scout Report
